Underground Innovations Event Goes Virtual
Underground Innovations is an event designed to bring together local and regional growers interested in innovative management practices. Featuring information on cover crops, strip-till, no-till, relay cropping, intercropping, precision technology and new crop markets, this meeting series provides a forum for information exchange and network building. Hear from local growers sharing what works here, farmers from across North America talking about what they’ve found to work on their operations, and speakers working to develop more robust markets for new crops to improve diversification of our cropping systems.
For 2020, Underground Innovations will be shifting to a virtual format held over the course of three dates. Three half-day sessions will be held through the winter featuring a great lineup of speakers and some creative attempts to connect with fellow attendees. One flat-rate registration fee of $30 covers attendance at all three sessions.
Session dates:
- Friday, December 18, 9:00am – 11:30am
- Friday, January 22, 9:00am – 12:30pm
- Friday, February 26, 9:00am – 12:30pm
Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation link from Eventbrite, then an email that includes log-in instructions for the virtual meeting a few days before the event.
Underground Innovations is organized with assistance from Michigan Agriculture Advancement, Michigan State University’s KBS LTAR program, and the Michigan Environmental Council. Support is provided by the Erb Family Foundation. Join us for Underground Innovations 2020!
